This was the perfect end to Black History Month! On Saturday, I want to AfroPunk’s Black HERstory Live at Lincoln Center. It was such a beautiful evening, filled with music, dance, and poetry. I got to see one of my favorites India Arie in person! My teenage heart is full ❤️❤️ #blackhistorymonth #blackherstory #girlsnightout #blackgirlmagic

My first completed read for 2023! This had been on my list and when my job gives you a choice of books from an employee created list I had to add this to my selection!!

Happy Black History Month!! As we move into February and begin to celebrate all things Black let us remember that Black Love, Black Pride, Black Wealth, etc all deserve to be celebrated. It not just our pain that deserves to be on the news reel, but our lives too. #blacklivesmatter #blackhistorymonth
